Remote (90%) with occasional travel to Warwick & project sites. Contract: 6 months (initial). Day Rate: From 650 per day (via Umbrella).

The Opportunity: We're supporting a major UK energy infrastructure organisation delivering critical projects across hydrogen and carbon capture – key areas driving the UK's transition to a low‑carbon future. They are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Lead to play a pivotal role during the early project (FEED) phase, leading procurement activity and establishing the frameworks that will underpin large‑scale infrastructure delivery. This is a high‑impact role where you will shape procurement strategy, build frameworks from the ground up, and engage with top‑tier suppliers across complex, high‑value programmes.

The Role: As Supply Chain Lead, you will take ownership of procurement strategy and delivery across early‑stage infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading end‑to‑end procurement activity across FEED‑stage projects
  • Designing and implementing procurement frameworks and call‑off structures
  • Developing compliant procurement strategies aligned to UCR 2016
  • Managing procurement packages from market engagement through to contract award
  • Engaging with Tier 1 contractors and specialist suppliers
  • Collaborating with engineering and project teams to define scope and tender strategies
  • Supporting the development of commercial models and delivery approaches

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong background in major infrastructure or construction projects
  • Proven experience working in early project phases (FEED stage)
  • Demonstrated ability to build procurement frameworks from scratch
  • In‑depth knowledge of UCR 2016 (Utilities Contracts Regulations)
  • Experience within regulated utilities or public sector procurement
  • Ability to operate independently in a complex, fast‑paced environment
