Contract Type: Contract / Temporary / Permanent

Pay Rates:

  • Day Shift: 16.68 per hour
  • Night Shift (Mon-Thu): 16.68 per hour + 20% shift uplift

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Inspector to join a precision engineering team in Leamington Spa. Both Day Shift and Monday-Thursday Night Shift positions are available. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-quality, small-batch transmission components primarily for the motorsport and aerospace sectors, with a strong emphasis on "right first time" quality.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerances with confidence
  • Inspect components against drawings and planning route cards to the highest standards and within specified timeframes
  • Proficient in the use of manual measuring equipment and performing table layout inspections
  • Confident using manual measuring equipment (e.g., verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.)
  • CMM programming experience (ideally Mitutoyo software) is preferred, but not essential
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and supporting the wider team
  • Flexible to assist in other manufacturing areas when required
  • Willing to work additional hours as needed to meet customer deadlines
