The predicted salary is between 15 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: Leamington Spa

Day Shift: Mon-Thurs 7am-3pm, Friday 7am-1pm – Hourly Rate: £15.58-16.68 DOE

Night Shift: Mon-Thurs 9.15pm-6am – Hourly Rate: £20.02 including 20% shift allowance

The Role

We are seeking to employ a fully skilled Inspector working on small batch work. This role involves working in a small team to deliver high quality transmission components, with a right first-time philosophy.

Duties:

  • Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric tolerances
  • Inspecting components against drawings and route cards within defined timeframes
  • Using manual measuring equipment to carry out detailed component inspection
  • Programming and operating CMM equipment (where required)
  • Identifying non-conformances and supporting problem-solving activities

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances
  • Ability to interpret and inspect components from drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality and within routed timeframes
  • Experience using manual measuring equipment and performing table work to check parts against drawing or planning requirements
  • Programming experience on CMM and knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous
  • Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to team support, with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when required
  • Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines
