Location: Leamington Spa
Day Shift: Mon-Thurs 7am-3pm, Friday 7am-1pm – Hourly Rate: £15.58-16.68 DOE
Night Shift: Mon-Thurs 9.15pm-6am – Hourly Rate: £20.02 including 20% shift allowance
The Role
We are seeking to employ a fully skilled Inspector working on small batch work. This role involves working in a small team to deliver high quality transmission components, with a right first-time philosophy.
Duties:
- Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric tolerances
- Inspecting components against drawings and route cards within defined timeframes
- Using manual measuring equipment to carry out detailed component inspection
- Programming and operating CMM equipment (where required)
- Identifying non-conformances and supporting problem-solving activities
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances
- Ability to interpret and inspect components from drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality and within routed timeframes
- Experience using manual measuring equipment and performing table work to check parts against drawing or planning requirements
- Programming experience on CMM and knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous
- Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to team support, with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement
- Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when required
- Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines
