Based in West Midlands

£27.21 per hour (Inside IR35)

Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time and travel within the UK.

About the company:

I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in West Midlands, who are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join their team.

Job Description:

  • Determine the most effective way of optimising people and facilities.
  • Ensure achievement of programme manpower targets.
  • Hours-per-car reporting, with manning implications.
  • Best practice productivity ideas incorporated into programme.
  • Assignment allocation, in conjunction with production plant.

Experience Required:

  • Experience of assembly operations, within manufacturing.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and Design for Assembly principles.
  • Industrial Engineering experience, with associated tools and techniques.
  • Previous experience of GSPAS and APT or equivalent tools.
  • Process authoring/process allocation tools experience would be an advantage.
