About the company: I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in West Midlands, who are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join their team.
Job Description: As Industrial Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Determine the most effective way of optimising people and facilities.
- Ensure achievement of programme manpower targets.
- Hours-per-car reporting, with manning implications.
- Best practice productivity ideas incorporated into programme.
- Assignment allocation, in conjunction with production plant.
Experience Required:
- Experience of assembly operations, within manufacturing.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and Design, for Assembly principles.
- Industrial Engineering experience, with associated tools and techniques.
- Previous experience of GSPAS and APT or equivalent tools.
- Process authoring / process allocation tools experience would be an advantage.
