Service & Installation Engineer Field Based UK Travel Up to £48,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Are you an electrically biased Service Engineer looking for a varied role with a strong work/life balance, flexible hours, and the opportunity to work with specialist machinery? We are looking for a Service & Installation Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected engineering business specialising in EDM machinery. This is a hybrid role combining both machine installations and service/maintenance work across customer sites throughout the UK. The position offers genuine flexibility, excellent long-term benefits, and the chance to work with advanced engineering technology in a supportive environment.
The Role
- Installation and commissioning of EDM machinery at customer sites
- Service, maintenance, calibration and fault finding
- Electrical, electronic and some mechanical diagnostics
- Software updates and machine performance improvements
- Providing technical support and excellent customer service
- Producing technical service reports
What We’re Looking For
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering background
- Experience in fault finding and maintenance engineering
- Good understanding of electrical/electronic systems
- Mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic knowledge advantageous
- Strong customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- EDM machinery experience is beneficial but not essential
