Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Change Lead with a strong background in organisational design and workforce transformation to support a major business transformation programme within a complex operational environment. This role will focus on organisational change, target operating model alignment, workforce transition, and capability development to support the successful implementation of new ways of working. The successful candidate will work closely with programme leadership, operational stakeholders, SMEs, and communications teams to ensure business readiness, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable adoption of organisational change initiatives. The role is based in Warwick with hybrid working available and occasional travel to operational sites when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Organisational Design & Workforce Transformation
- Support leaders in aligning organisational structures and roles to future target operating models.
- Conduct role impact assessments to identify role changes, new role creation, and workforce implications.
- Advise on organisational design approaches that support future ways of working, operational resilience, and business objectives.
- Support workforce transition activities ensuring smooth adoption of new structures and processes.
- Business Change Delivery
- Lead and deliver business change activities across multiple transformation workstreams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business change plans across the full project lifecycle.
- Integrate change management activities into wider programme delivery plans.
- Champion change management best practices across the programme and wider business.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
- Lead stakeholder mapping and engagement activities across all change workstreams.
- Build effective relationships with senior leaders, programme teams, SMEs, and operational stakeholders.
- Drive engagement initiatives, consultation activities, and feedback mechanisms to support change adoption.
- Support communication planning, change narratives, and engagement materials aligned to programme objectives.
- Lead engagement with change agent networks and support ongoing stakeholder readiness activities.
- Training & Capability Building
- Identify capability gaps and conduct training needs analysis.
- Support the development and delivery of training interventions and upskilling initiatives.
- Help teams adapt to evolving business requirements and new operational models.
- Operational Readiness & Transition
- Support operational readiness and workforce transition planning activities.
- Conduct readiness assessments and support go-live decision-making processes.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure successful handover and embedding of new ways of working.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering business change within large, complex organisations.
- Strong organisational design and workforce transformation experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting target operating model implementation and workforce transition.
- Proven ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholder groups at all levels.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Experience developing and managing robust business change plans throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Competent across Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within operational, infrastructure, or regulated environments.
- Experience delivering change within unionised environments.
- Experience supporting hard-to-reach or geographically dispersed workforces.
