Picking & Packing Position with Our Growing Dispatch Team

Monday to Friday – 8am – 5:15pm (with 1 in 3 Sundays)

We are a well established family business & online retailer based in the heart of Yorkshire. As a well established business, we continue to grow despite the current economic downturn. We are striving to continue expanding our customer base with proven year on year growth. To keep up with demand we are looking for flexible individuals to join our Picking / Dispatch team, who want to work with us to grow further and meet the needs of our customers. As a small team a cheerful character goes a long way. You will also need the ability to self motivate. Some tasks you will need to work individually, while other tasks need you to work as part of a team to achieve the company's goals. This is a hands‑on position, which can be physically demanding during your working day. The ability to think for yourself, demonstrate practical skills, while at the same time using common sense, will see you well suited to this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking customer orders accurately from warehouse stock.
  • Packing products securely and to company standards.
  • Ensuring orders are ready for courier collections on time.
  • Keeping the packing area tidy and organised.
  • Supporting the wider warehouse team where needed.

About You

  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Good attention to detail; accuracy is important.
  • Able to work at a consistent pace and on your feet during shifts.
  • Team player with a positive, can‑do attitude.
  • Previous warehouse or packing experience helpful, but not essential (full training provided).

Rate of Pay starts from £13.00 per hour, wages are paid weekly. The job is based in Amotherby YO17 6TQ.
