We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Warehouse Operative in West Hallam Ilkeston, DE7 6HE.
Your pay rate as a full time Warehouse Operative: £13.13 per hour.
Typical working hours as a full time Warehouse Operative: Rotating shift (weekly) Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00. You will be required to work Sunday to Thursday pattern every other week.
Your role as a Warehouse Operative includes:
- Picking and packing items ready for distribution
- Using a handheld scanner to sort items
- Boxing items on a line/station and rework area
- Manual lifting involved (up to 23 KG)
- Unloading & loading containers
- Wrapping and unwrapping pallets
- Adhering to and upholding strict health and safety standards
- Ensuring the warehouse is always clean
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Have own reliable transport to reach the work location
- Willing to handle alcohol, e.g., wine bottles
- Good level of communication
- Can adhere to and uphold strict health and safety standards
- Wear PPE, which will be provided
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must already have a legal status to work in the UK
