Location: Head Office Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Hours: Mon Fri, 9am to 5.30pm

We are a well-established team of recruitment specialists, connecting talented individuals with leading organisations across the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Pharmacy, and Life Sciences sectors. We are currently looking for a Recruitment Associate to join our team at our Head Office in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

About You

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded individual with a background in sales, recruitment or customer service. You will be confident engaging with candidates, with a natural ability to build rapport, understand motivations, and effectively promote job opportunities. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a more active role in the commercial side of recruitment, rather than purely administrative tasks.

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Have experience in a fast-paced recruitment, sales, or customer service role
  • Be confident and professional when speaking over the telephone
  • Demonstrate strong influencing and communication skills
  • Be target-driven with a proactive approach to workload
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Be based within a commutable distance of Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Key Responsibilities

  • Working alongside an experienced recruitment team to engage with candidates and promote relevant job opportunities
  • Effectively promoting vacancies by understanding candidate motivations and aligning them to suitable client roles
  • Building strong relationships with candidates and maintaining consistent communication throughout the recruitment process
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within internal CRM systems
  • Supporting targeted recruitment campaigns, mailshots, and candidate attraction activities
  • Handling incoming calls and candidate enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
  • Preparing candidates for interviews using effective coaching and interview techniques
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times
