Duties of the Vehicle Service Technician:
- Carry out vehicle servicing and maintenance, including diagnostics and repairs, adhering to manufacturer standards
- Complete digital write-ups and maintain accurate job cards for each vehicle
- Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
- Support warranty claims and perform routine repairs such as oil service, cambelt replacements, and more
- Uphold high safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards throughout all tasks
- Support team colleagues diligently to uphold workshop productivity and quality targets
Requirements:
- Recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Technician or Mechanic, with exposure to warranty and servicing duties
- Strong team player with a professional approach, excellent attention to detail
- MOT Licence is highly advantageous; full training can be provided if required
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and develop within the automotive sector, with a focus on manufacturer training opportunities
