Duties

  • Service, maintain, and repair a broad range of vehicles, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
  • Conduct diagnostics and fault finding to identify issues accurately
  • Complete larger mechanical repairs, such as wet belts and major components, as required
  • Perform vehicle health checks and report additional work needed
  • Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity targets
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed, adhering to manufacturer standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or busy workshop environment
  • MOT Tester licence (desirable, or willing to obtain)
  • Confidence with more complex mechanical repairs preferable
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
