What You Will Do:

  • Lead the charge in delivering exceptional vehicle efficiency through engineering optimisation and data analysis.
  • Utilise simulation tools to conduct road load predictions and simulations, drawing actionable conclusions to enhance performance.
  • Represent the kinetic energy attribute in cross‑departmental meetings, ensuring alignment with the company's goals.
  • Oversee physical road load coast‑down tests and provide expert guidance to the Integrated Energy Management Teams.
  • Manage projects effectively, balancing multiple priorities and delivering results that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Present findings confidently to stakeholders at all levels, influencing decisions with your technical expertise.

What You Will Bring:

  • A degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, combined with relevant industrial experience.
  • Proficiency in using simulation tools such as ADAMS, Simulink, GT-Power, or Carmaker, and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • A strong understanding of engineering physics and road load analysis techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build cross‑departmental relationships.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and deliver under pressure.
