Manpower are currently looking for a Vehicle Inspector for one of our clients in the Thorne area! This role is working Monday to Friday starting at 6am until finish.

Duties:

  • Inspecting vehicles to NEW, AUC and BVRLA standards, using mobile computer technology.
  • Take high quality images of damage as required, depending on customer inspection standard, review images to confirm quality of customers' expectations.
  • Communicate with several internal and external partners to ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Have the ability to identify damage and previous repairs and apply the correct repair method autonomously.
  • Loading work into the correct work areas and apportioning the costs to the correct responsibility.
  • Handle all Inspection equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Provide a professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers, including carrying out demonstrations of the inspection process during calibrations.
  • Liaise closely with site personnel and maintain regular contact with line manager.
  • Remain up to date on customer inspection process and standards.
  • Take care and responsibility of all vehicles in your care, reporting immediately any accidents.
  • Carry out other duties as requested by line manager.
  • Actively champion a culture of continuous improvement.

The pay rate is £14.40 per hour.
