This internationally renowned educational institution is seeking a meticulous and driven Payroll Assistant to join their team.
The Role
As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering an efficient and accurate payroll service for their employees and freelance staff. Working within a complex manual payroll environment, you will manage a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Accurately inputting and processing timesheet-based payroll data for a diverse workforce.
- Managing and verifying overtime, adjustments, and variable pay elements.
- Assisting in the preparation and distribution of payslips, ensuring all deductions are accurate and timely.
- Supporting the Payroll Manager with year-end processes, including P11Ds and P60s.
- Responding to employee queries, providing clear and professional guidance on payroll matters.
- Contributing to the improvement of payroll systems and processes.
About You
- Experience in payroll processing, ideally in a timesheet-heavy environment.
- An understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.
