How to prepare for a job interview at United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia

Know Your EYFS

Make sure you brush up on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum before your interview. Being able to discuss how you would facilitate learning opportunities based on this framework will show that you're not just familiar with it, but that you can apply it in a practical setting.

Show Your Caring Side

Prepare examples of how you've created a nurturing environment in previous roles. Whether it's a specific activity or a way you supported a child, sharing these stories will highlight your caring nature and enthusiasm for working with children.

Teamwork is Key

Think about times when you've collaborated with colleagues to create a positive atmosphere. Be ready to discuss how you communicate and work as part of a team, as this is crucial in a nursery setting where teamwork enhances the children's experience.

Be Ready to Adapt

Since the role may require travelling to different nursery settings, be prepared to talk about your flexibility and willingness to adapt to new environments. Share any experiences where you've successfully adjusted to changes in your work routine or setting.
