Location: Hoveringham - Nottingham

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary ongoing

Salary: £14.30 per hour

Shifts: Day shifts start between 04.00 - 06.00, finish between 12 noon - 14.00 (8 hours per day)

About the Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Pre-Cast Concrete Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team. The successful candidates will assist in the production of high-quality pre-cast concrete products in a safe and efficient factory environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in construction, manufacturing, concrete production, or heavy industrial work. Due to the location of the site, you will need your own transport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing moulds and casting beds for concrete production
  • Pouring, levelling, and finishing concrete products
  • Installing reinforcement materials and inserts
  • Operating hand and power tools safely
  • Stripping moulds and preparing finished products for dispatch
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
  • Assisting with lifting and moving materials using lifting equipment when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in pre-cast concrete, construction, manufacturing, or a similar environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift licence or overhead crane experience beneficial but not essential
