We are currently recruiting for a Tyre Fitter to join a busy and well-established main dealer in Newcastle. This is a great opportunity to join a professional workshop environment with the stability of a franchised dealership and the opportunity to earn additional bonus.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and related mechanical work while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of a Tyre Fitter:
- Fitting and replacing tyres on a wide range of vehicles
- Carrying out wheel balancing and wheel alignment
- Inspecting tyres for wear and damage
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and minor mechanical work where required
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer and safety standards
- Maintaining accurate job records and workshop documentation
- Supporting the workshop team when required
Skills and Qualifications of a Tyre Fitter:
- Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or Fast Fit Technician
- Experience using tyre fitting, balancing and alignment equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong teamwork skills
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential)
