As a Transport Operations Assistant, you will be speaking to business customers regarding collections and schedules, dealing with any issues that may arise, and planning the routes (training will be given). You will liaise with customers and drivers daily and reroute vehicles, when required, to resolve issues.

The role will be responsible for keeping the management system up to date by inputting all data in a timely manner and undertaking general office duties as required.

The successful candidate will ideally have worked within a fast-paced office environment and will have excellent IT (particularly Excel), communication (written and oral), and inter-personal skills. They will be able to work in a team, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines, and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

Starting salary of £27,000 p.a. Monday - Friday.
