Responsibilities:
- Observing, learning and gaining understanding of a wide range of electronic engineering skills and processes while under the instruction of skilled technical staff.
- Demonstrating these skills and processes as the training period progresses by working independently or with a team, undertaking tasks as instructed and increasing overall contribution.
- Learning and understanding the importance of Health and Safety.
- Developing the skills and knowledge to construct or modify electrical and electronic equipment to an appropriate standard from both verbal instructions and drawings.
- Using a variety of electronic test equipment.
- Maintaining workshop equipment to keep it in good condition.
- Ensuring general good housekeeping.
- Liaising with clients both internal and external to provide technical assistance and problem-solving.
- Developing consistent and effective use of all available systems to support the entire engineering request process.
- Utilising system information to effectively manage resources and priorities based on orders and repairs.
- Utilising Pinnacle Service Module to ensure data is accurate and up to date for all internal users and support annual stock take.
- Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through to job completion by liaising with all internal departments.
- Providing technical support to Operations department and clients as required.
- Maintaining and supporting the company's standards for electronic maintenance.
