Alliance Personnel are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant/FLT Driver based in Tipton.
PAY RATE: £13.40 per hour
HOURS: 07:30am-16:00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 07:30am-12:00pm
Counterbalance (CB) and Bendi Flexi is required for this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of customer orders, picking of stock, packing of boxes, bags & pallets; securing pallets for delivery, printing of correct labels and labelling of product for customer;
- Loading and unloading of pallets to and from the racking;
- Safe unloading of containers via the Dock Leveller and subsequent loading of stock into racking system;
- Ensure all pallets are of sound structure, are not overweight for racking bay - refer to maximum weight loading signage;
- Safe unloading of delivery vehicles - follow the Safe Working Practice for Deliveries and Delivery Drivers;
- Ensure Company Boxing, Bagging and Palletising specifications are followed;
- Thorough completion and accounting of paperwork e.g. picking and delivery notes and GRNs;
- Assist with stock taking as required.
This role is 70% (warehouse) and 30% (FLT driving).
