We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join a reputable painting and decorating company based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a new build residential site, delivering high-quality finishing touches that meet both client expectations and industry standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of painting and decorating, including applying gloss, emulsion, and preparing surfaces to ensure a flawless finish. It is essential to bring a comprehensive painting toolkit, comprising brushes, rollers, scuttles, extensions, scrapers, and whites (overalls), to meet the demands of the job effectively.
- CSCS card required
- NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent desirable
- Proven experience in domestic/residential painting and decorating
- Ability to undertake all aspects of painting including prepping, glossing, and emulsions
- Full set of painting tools and personal protective equipment
- Good attention to detail and a professional attitude
