We are recruiting a Machine Operator who ideally has experience of operating a Die Press or similar machinery, for our manufacturing client based in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire. Working as part of a small team, you will have experience of setting up and running production machines, ideally within a print or packaging manufacturing environment. Reporting into the Production Manager, this is a temporary position which could lead to a permanent role for the successful candidate.
Working in a busy and fast-paced environment, duties will involve:
- Setting up fast-paced production machinery, including printing machines
- Loading materials onto machines & running them
- Running a die press machine to print and cut materials
- Quality checking finished goods
This would suit someone who ideally has operated an automated die press machine (or similar), within a print or packaging environment. This is a new role within their organisation and is part of their ongoing growth - you will be joining a small but well-established and friendly team, who offer long-term prospects and development for the successful candidate.
