About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee residential housing developments across the Teesside region. This is a long-term opportunity for someone looking to grow with a stable and forward-thinking construction business, delivering high-quality housing schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Maintain high standards of health & safety in line with company and legal requirements
- Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management
- Ensure quality control and compliance with specifications and building regulations
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships
- Conduct site inspections and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housing developments
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, particularly volume or bespoke housing
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold Card), and First Aid certification
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and meet deadlines effectively
- Full UK driving licence
