A well-established and highly regarded country inn and dining venue located in the Berkshire countryside is currently looking to recruit a talented Senior Chef de Partie to strengthen its kitchen brigade. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious chef who is passionate about fresh food, high standards, and working within a busy, professional kitchen environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the senior kitchen team whilst maintaining consistently high culinary standards across service. The ideal candidate will already be operating at Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie level within a fresh food kitchen and will be confident running their own section during busy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Running and managing your own section during service.
  • Preparing fresh food to a consistently high standard.
  • Supporting junior chefs and assisting with training where required.
  • Ensuring all food hygiene and HACCP procedures are followed correctly.
  • Assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.
  • Helping with stock rotation, ordering, and minimising waste.
  • Working effectively as part of a close-knit kitchen brigade.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie within a fresh food environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen health & safety procedures.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure during busy service periods.
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal food and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented approach.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Own transport would be beneficial due to the countryside location.
