We are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Paint Sprayer on behalf of our client, a reputable and family-run automotive accident repair centre located in Tewkesbury. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle painting, with opportunities to develop further within a supportive team environment. Duties
- Preparing and priming vehicle bodywork to the required specifications
- Mixing colours and colour-matching for all vehicle repairs
- Painting repaired areas and customisation work to high standards
- Polishing vehicle surfaces as necessary
- Maintaining detailed and current product knowledge
- Ensuring exceptional customer service to promote loyalty and generate referrals
- Upholding cleanliness, housekeeping, and health and safety standards
- Accurately administering work documentation and records
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer, either current or recent
- Formal NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications are desirable; candidates with substantial on-the-job experience will be considered
- Willingness to undertake ATA accreditation post-probation
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
- Experience in commercial vehicle paint spraying is advantageous but not essential
