The Test Engineer role includes:
- Testing PCBAs, assemblies and finished electronic products
- Diagnosing faults down to component level
- Operating and maintaining test equipment and functional test systems
- Recording and analysing test data accurately
- Supporting troubleshooting activities across production
- Reading and interpreting schematics, drawings and technical documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement and NPI activities
- Maintaining high standards within the test area
What they are looking for in a Test Engineer:
- Previous experience as a Test Engineer within electronics manufacturing or an EMS environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience
- Ability to interpret schematics and circuit diagrams
- Experience using electronic test equipment such as ICT, JTAG or functional testing systems
