Test & Applications Engineer required. Our client is a specialist engineering company supplying advanced machinery based in the Poole, Dorset area. Due to continued success they are seeking a Test & Applications Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be conducting trials on plastic materials in a laboratory environment.
Position Overview
- Carrying out pressure testing & feasibility studies on plastic materials
- Analysing test results
- Communicating closely with customers via email & phone regarding test results and feasibility
- In the future visiting the customers if required alongside the sales engineer and in time commissioning machines throughout the UK & Ireland.
Position Requirements
- Previous experience within a Test / Laboratory related role
- Ability to work as part of a team with a flexible approach
- Experience working with Plastics is a distinct advantage
- Qualifications within Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or Testing is desirable
- Willingness to travel when required
- Based in a commutable distance of Poole
Position Remuneration
- Salary: 33,000 - 35,000
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:15, Friday 08:30 - 16:00.
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
- Bonus paid on company performance
- Pension
