Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known client based in the London area, who are looking for a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out property inspections and condition surveys on residential and commercial buildings
  • Identifying defects, maintenance issues, and repair requirements
  • Preparing survey reports with findings and recommendations
  • Managing planned and reactive maintenance works
  • Overseeing contractors on site and monitoring quality of work
  • Ensuring works are completed in line with health and safety regulations
  • Assisting with damp and mould investigations and remedial solutions
  • Preparing specifications, schedules of works, and cost estimates
  • Liaising with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal departments
  • Supporting refurbishment, disrepair, and capital works projects
  • Monitoring budgets and ensuring value for money on projects
  • Keeping accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Conducting post-inspections to ensure works are completed to standard
  • Ensuring buildings meet statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and residents
