Are you passionate about housing standards and supporting vulnerable residents? A Local Authority in East London is looking for a proactive and customer‑focused Property Inspector to join their Temporary Accommodation team on an initial 3 month contract. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in improving the lives of homeless households by ensuring temporary accommodation is safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.

You'll be at the forefront of delivering reassurance and practical support to residents while helping the Council meet its homelessness responsibilities. In this role, you'll carry out property inspections across a range of temporary accommodation settings, identifying repairs, safety concerns, and fire risks while working closely with tenants, landlords, contractors, and internal teams.

Strong communication and a proactive approach are essential, as you'll be helping residents build confidence and resilience during challenging circumstances.
