Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to join our team at a recycling facility in Perth. This role involves operating a telehandler to move, load, and organise electrical equipment and materials safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in supporting site operations and ensuring materials are handled in line with company and environmental standards during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a telehandler safely to move, load, and unload materials across the site
- Transport electrical equipment and waste materials to designated processing areas
- Assist with sorting and processing recyclable materials
- Load and feed materials into machinery and production lines
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
- Ensure safe stacking and storage of materials to maintain an organised yard
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid Telehandler licence (essential)
- Previous experience operating a telehandler in a similar environment
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Strong awareness of surroundings and safe equipment operation
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
