Geovation is an innovation and incubation function, working with startups, founders and partners to explore new applications of location data. We’re looking for a Technology & Incubator Lead to shape the future of geospatial innovation and accelerate the development of new, impactful products. This is a senior leadership role that combines technical leadership, product-led thinking and innovation programme delivery. You’ll be responsible for Geovation’s Incubator – guiding experimentation, supporting startups and translating insight into outcomes that influence future direction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the Incubator team.
  • Own and deliver the Incubator programme, generating insight, market learning and value.
  • Select startups and design tailored technical and product support.
  • Design and oversee hypothesis-led proof-of-concept experiments.
  • Provide technical and thought leadership across geospatial data, emerging tech and new markets.
  • Strengthen Geovation’s technical, research and experimentation capability.
  • Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical background with extensive experience in software and/or geospatial development.
  • Proven leadership of high-performing technical teams.
  • Experience working with or supporting early-stage startups.
  • Track record delivering innovation, research or experimental programmes.
  • Product-led and design-thinking mindset.
  • Credible technical communicator and influencer.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in an accelerator, incubator or innovation environment.
  • Mentoring or advising founders.
  • Exposure to location-powered or geospatial products.
  • Programme or consultancy delivery experience.
