Are you a technically strong sales professional with a passion for sensors and engineered solutions? We are partnering with a highly respected, international electronics solutions provider looking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across their UK Sensors portfolio. This is a field-based role with home office flexibility, offering real autonomy and the opportunity to influence design decisions at engineering level.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of developing and growing the UK sensor market from design-in at engineering stage through to commercial account management. Working with OEMs and design engineers, you will introduce advanced sensor technologies including:
- Temperature & environmental sensors
- MEMS (pressure, accelerometers, gas)
- Position & load sensors
- EMECH solutions (switches, interconnect, power)
This is a consultative, solution-led sales role where technical credibility is key.
What You Will Be Doing
- Proactively targeting and winning new OEM customers
- Driving design-in activity with engineers and technical teams
- Managing and growing existing strategic accounts
- Negotiating and closing profitable business
- Building a strong opportunity pipeline and delivering against revenue & margin targets
- Representing the business at exhibitions and industry events
What We Are Looking For
- Proven technical sales or FAE background
- Experience selling sensors (2+ years preferred)
- Strong understanding of sensor technologies & applications
- Commercially astute with ownership of revenue/margin targets
- Engineering or Electronics degree (or equivalent experience)
- UK driving licence & willingness to travel weekly
You will be self-motivated, commercially driven and confident engaging both engineers and procurement stakeholders.
