Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the First Contact / Front Door Team for London Borough of Sutton.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing a busy Front Door / First Contact Team responsible for receiving and screening safeguarding referrals.
  • Overseeing threshold decision‑making, risk assessments, and timely safeguarding interventions.
  • Providing management oversight and supervision to Social Workers and frontline practitioners.
  • Ensuring referrals are progressed appropriately in line with statutory guidance and safeguarding procedures.
  • Working closely with MASH partners, education, police, health and early help services.
  • Supporting service performance, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promoting effective multi‑agency safeguarding practice and child‑focused decision‑making.

Working Pattern: Hybrid working

Pay Rate: £45.20 p/h Umb

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification – Degree or equivalent
  • Social Work England Registration
  • Previous Team Manager experience within Front Door, MASH or Assessment Services
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and threshold decision‑making
  • Experience supervising frontline children’s social care staff
  • Excellent leadership and multi‑agency working skills
