TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive and inclusive school in Leicester. The school provides a positive learning environment, focusing on adaptive teaching, pupil wellbeing and supporting children across a range of abilities and learning needs.
The school is looking to appoint a General Cover Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful General Cover Teaching Assistant will work between 8:30am and 4pm, supporting learning across multiple Key Stages through small group work, adaptive teaching strategies and behaviour support, while also supporting pupils with SEND and emotional regulation needs.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or 6 months plus relevant experience
- Experience supporting pupils across multiple Key Stages
- Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and differentiated learning
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND and behaviour regulation
- Knowledge of Pre-Key Stage assessment and intervention support
- A proactive, flexible and can-do attitude
