Job Type: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join a busy and growing team based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, permanent work with training and progression opportunities.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm (when required)

Duties Will Include:

  • Assisting customers buying and selling metal
  • Sorting cables and various metal materials in the yard
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • General yard duties and housekeeping
  • Operating machinery (full training provided)
  • Training available on forklift trucks and cranes - internal training during the assignment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Good customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training
  • Ability to work outdoors and carry out physical work
  • A driving licence is preferred
