Our client, a well-established not-for-profit organisation in Swindon, is seeking a dedicated Homeless Support Worker to join their team. Key Details:
- Hourly Rate: 14.25 per hour
- Contract: 3-month contract
- Requirement: DBS on the Update Service required due to immediate start date
What you'll be doing:
- Providing compassionate support and guidance to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness
- Developing personalised action plans to promote stability and independence
- Assisting clients with housing applications, benefit claims, and accessing community services
- Conducting outreach to engage clients and build trusting relationships
- Maintaining accurate, confidential case records in line with organisational policies
