Contract: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities available
Role split: 80% refrigeration, 20% warehouse.
Refrigeration training programme includes:
- General cleaning process
- Job ticket and completion of job tickers
- Service checklist and diagnostic operation
- Agitator function and electrical aspects
- Motor and RVP function flow‑rate test
- Stat function
- Bath inspection
- Sanitation
- Syrup coil decay pressure test
- Ice back formation
- Understanding all mechanical components
Warehouse responsibilities include:
- Receipt of goods
- Correctly locating goods
- Understanding POs
- Internal communication – email/phone
- Stock movement
- Inter‑company transfers
- Despatching goods
- Training on UPS Portal and Inter‑haul Portal
- Inventory pick – reading and using correctly
- Packing from warehouse (FIFO)
- Packaging
- Internal/External communication – email/phone
- Carriage charge for UPS/Inter‑haul
- Labels and despatch documents
- General warehousing understanding
- Independent operation through transfers, goods in and goods out
- Housekeeping with inventory control
- Initial learning of export processes
Rotational working hours:
Monday to Thursday, Friday
Hourly pay rates:
Basic rate – £13.50
Successful candidates will have experience in a warehouse role; full refrigeration training will be provided. Inductions will be held on site in line with health and safety policies.
