We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Joiner to join a leading property services contractor operating within the social housing sector in the Swindon area. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term stability, excellent benefits, and the chance to work as part of a professional and supportive maintenance team.
The Role
As a Multi Skilled Joiner, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of carpentry and joinery repairs within occupied and void residential properties. You will also complete additional multi-trade duties as required to support the wider repairs and maintenance service. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day joinery and carpentry repairs
- Install and repair doors, frames, kitchens, flooring, and other timber components
- Complete reactive and planned maintenance works
- Undertake basic multi-trade works including:
- Plumbing
- Tiling
- Patch plastering
- Decorating
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Accurately record completed works and materials used
- Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and residents
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (essential)
- Previous experience in domestic maintenance or social housing repairs
- Experience carrying out multi-trade maintenance works
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
