Interim Finance Officer role with hybrid working, based in Swindon initially until the end of August 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming payments, posting and reconciling transactions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all income is recorded and reconciled accurately and timely, with relevant evidence uploaded into the finance system.
  • Monitor the cash balances and provide regular cash flow forecast reports to the Head of Finance.
  • Manage the monthly reconciling of credit card purchases.
  • Issue sales invoices, updating account information and records of clients.
  • Monitor the Aged Debtors and advise on possible doubtful debts.
  • Ensure that all payments are processed in line with internal policies.
  • Undertake day‑to‑day accounts receivable activities.
  • Assist the Purchase Ledger Team Lead with data required for procurement purposes.
  • Undertake processing of invoices and the sending of Purchase Orders.
