A minimum of 6 months class 1 experience is preferred, however we will accept newly qualified drivers. Are you a skilled/newly qualified Class 1 HGV Driver looking for a role that offers flexibility, great benefits, and a supportive team environment?
Available Shifts: Ad hoc shifts AMAM: including Sat & Mon start windows from 03:00.
What You'll Be Doing:
- You’ll be delivering frozen, chilled and ambient goods to food retail stores and RDCs.
- This is a hands‑on role that involves unloading palletised and caged goods directly into store locations.
- You’ll be a key part of keeping shelves stocked and customers happy.
Pay Rates for paid holidays (per hour):
- Weekdays & Nights – 19.23
- Saturday – 24.04
- Sunday & Bank Holidays – 28.85
Pay Rates for unpaid holidays (per hour):
- Weekdays & Nights – 21.55
- Saturday – 26.94
- Sunday & Bank Holidays – 32.33
What You'll Need:
- A valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence with at least 1 year of experience.
- DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph.
- A good understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive.
- Ability to carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects.
- A positive attitude, great communication skills, and a flexible approach.
