Join Our Driving Force at GXO Iceland - Swindon. Class 1 HGV Drivers Wanted - Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available.

A minimum of 6 months class 1 experience is preferred, however we will accept newly qualified drivers. Are you a skilled/newly qualified Class 1 HGV Driver looking for a role that offers flexibility, great benefits, and a supportive team environment?

Available Shifts: Ad hoc shifts AMAM: including Sat & Mon start windows from 03:00.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You’ll be delivering frozen, chilled and ambient goods to food retail stores and RDCs.
  • This is a hands‑on role that involves unloading palletised and caged goods directly into store locations.
  • You’ll be a key part of keeping shelves stocked and customers happy.

Pay Rates for paid holidays (per hour):

  • Weekdays & Nights – 19.23
  • Saturday – 24.04
  • Sunday & Bank Holidays – 28.85

Pay Rates for unpaid holidays (per hour):

  • Weekdays & Nights – 21.55
  • Saturday – 26.94
  • Sunday & Bank Holidays – 32.33

What You'll Need:

  • A valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence with at least 1 year of experience.
  • DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph.
  • A good understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive.
  • Ability to carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects.
  • A positive attitude, great communication skills, and a flexible approach.
