The predicted salary is between 50000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting for an electrical tester to join the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 5-7 years. Long-term work is available for the right candidates with the correct cards and tickets who want a stable job and income for the foreseeable future.

PAYE basis On Offer:

  • A rate of £25.41 per hour
  • Lodge allowance of £50.13 per shift available for candidates located over 50 miles away from the job
  • Pension scheme
  • HS2 induction
  • Safety critical medical (if required)
  • Safe working environment
  • Secure, regular income
  • Overtimes may be available: Saturday's and Sunday's at x1.5

Candidates must have:

  • ECS gold card with electrician grading - preferably 18th edition IET qualification
  • PAT testing and other high power tools testing
  • C&G 2391 testing and inspection qualification (or equivalent)
  • Skilled tradesperson with suitable experience of Electrical work
  • Ability to work on their own as well as part of a gang
  • Must be able to read and work from drawings
  • Good understanding and experience of Power tools usage, Fault Finding and Repairs
  • Efficient with computer usage and proactive with email communications

About the Role:

We aim to deploy our own purchased BBV power Tools and Equipment which will require periodic inspections, small repairs, tools management which candidate should be able to carry out. Also, management of tools inventory, admitting them for repair and handing them back to site with updating the records for live file/software. It is a hybrid role of Testing and maintaining equipment + managing small stores/workshop.
