We are recruiting Support Workers to provide person-centred care to young adults, with a combination of physical and learning disabilities, care and support at a charity-led Independent Supported Living environment. The facility consists of 10 self-contained bungalows all with onsite staff facilities and car parking.
What you’ll be doing:
- Helping individuals live as independently as possible by assisting with everyday tasks including cooking, cleaning, organising social activities, and supporting with health appointments.
You’ll play an important role in improving their quality of life by offering day-to-day support, emotional encouragement, and meaningful engagement.
What we’re looking for:
- Experienced in working with adults with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities.
- Strong communicators with a proactive attitude.
- Willing to travel within the local area.
- This is a 24/7 service; Support Workers must be willing to work both days and nights.
