We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Physical Education (PE) Supply Teacher to provide daily cover at a welcoming and well-regarded secondary Girls' school in Waltham Forest. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for both qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced non-qualified instructors with a strong background in sports and education to work on long-term supply, starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and strong classroom management
  • Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Promote student participation, teamwork, and physical wellbeing
  • Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Requirements:

  • QTS is desirable but not essential if other relevant experience is held
  • Experience teaching or coaching PE in a secondary school setting
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Due to being a girls school, my client prefers a Female candidate
