Do you have experience in MIG & TIG welding and metal fabrication?

Location: Sudbury

Hourly Rate: £14.00 - £16.50 DOE

Contract: Temp - Perm

Hours: Monday - Thursday

An opportunity has arisen for a MIG & TIG Welder for our client, based in Sudbury, Suffolk. As the MIG & TIG Welder your duties will include:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
  • Set up welding equipment, select appropriate materials, and adjust welding parameters
  • Fabricate, fit, and weld parts and assemblies to specification
  • Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance
  • Grind, finish, and repair welds as required
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools

An ideal candidate for the MIG & TIG Welder will have:

  • Proven experience in fabrication and welding
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Knowledge of working with different metals such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
