Do you have experience in building and wiring electrical control panels?

Location: Sudbury

Hourly Rate: Up to 16.50 DOE

Contract: Temp - Perm after 12 weeks

Hours: Monday - Thursday

An opportunity has arisen for Electrical Panel Builder for our client based in Sudbury, Suffolk.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and build electrical control panels, cabinets, and enclosures to specification
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and bills of materials
  • Mount electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, PLCs, and power supplies
  • Carry out panel wiring including cable routing, crimping, stripping, and terminating conductors
  • Label components and wiring in accordance with standards and project requirements
  • Perform point-to-point wiring checks and continuity testing

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electrical panel building or electrical assembly
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and layout drawings
  • Knowledge of electrical components and control systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
