An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Panel Builder for our client based in Sudbury, Suffolk.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and build electrical control panels, cabinets, and enclosures to specification
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and bills of materials
- Mount electrical components such as circuit breakers, contactors, relays, terminal blocks, PLCs, and power supplies
- Carry out panel wiring including cable routing, crimping, stripping, and terminating conductors
- Label components and wiring in accordance with standards and project requirements
- Perform point-to-point wiring checks and continuity testing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical panel building or electrical assembly
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and layout drawings
- Knowledge of electrical components and control systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
