If you have a background in managing massive pours, intricate reinforcement, and the unique challenges of structures built for high-consequence environments-particularly those interfacing with marine or submerged elements, this is the long-term seat you've been looking for.

The Role

  • Contract: Long-term (Exceptional project longevity)
  • Focus: Leading the technical execution of major, deep-level structural packages.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Structural Mastery: Extensive experience managing heavy reinforced concrete (RC), ideally within high-integrity sectors like Marine, Nuclear, or Energy.
  • Complex Substructures: A proven track record of overseeing deep foundations, high-durability concrete mixes, and structural elements designed for challenging environments.
  • Operational Leadership: The ability to manage a team of engineers and specialised subcontractors to hit demanding programme milestones without compromising on QA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a dedicated structural delivery unit, ensuring all works comply with stringent technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Oversee the production and implementation of complex Method Statements (RAMS) and Temporary Works.
  • Manage the technical interface between the design office and site operations, troubleshooting structural engineering hurdles as they arise.
  • Drive a "zero-defect" culture, ensuring all quality records and structural integrity benchmarks are met and documented.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience at Sub Agent or Senior Engineer level on Heavy Civils projects.
