Are you looking for a fast-paced, people-focused role where no two days are the same? We're currently building a talent pool of reliable, enthusiastic individuals to support our busy student accommodation sites during key check-in periods.
This is a front-facing role where you'll be one of the first points of contact for students, helping to create a welcoming, positive, and seamless move-in experience during high-energy peak periods.
Shift patterns
- Early shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm
- Late shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Please note, this role may require you to work across two additional sites in Durham.
What you'll be doing:
- Welcoming students and creating a friendly first impression
- Supporting student check-ins and handling general enquiries
- Managing post and deliveries
- Assisting with student events and community activities
- Carrying out room checks and inspections
- Supporting students with fire alarm procedures and lockouts
- Assisting the wider team with day-to-day operational tasks
- Working independently at times, including lone working during quieter periods or across different sites
- Getting involved wherever needed to ensure the site runs smoothly during busy periods
- Assisting with light cleaning tasks such as hoovering etc within reception area
