MKD Recruit are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client, a pallet distribution company at their site in Stretham, near Ely, Cambridgeshire. If you have at least 6 months experience of driving Class 2 / HGV II / Rigids and are looking for a well paid and long term / ongoing opportunity covering the East of England.

What We Offer:

This full time, Monday - Friday role starts at 07:30 with varied finishing times and will see you delivering and collecting pallets across the region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate a curtain sided HGV Class 2 with a tail lift.
  • Plan routes effectively while adhering to legal driving hours.
  • Load and unload pallets safely, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections.
  • Operate the proof of delivery EPA system properly (training given).

Requirements:

  • Valid UK HGV Class 2 driving licence.
  • Up-to-date CPC and DIGI Card.
  • Minimum 6 months of Class 2 driving experience.
  • A reliable and punctual work ethic.
  • A maximum of 6 points (Must NOT include: IN10, DD, DR or DG).
